Oscar Fashion 2019: Best and Worst Dressed on the Red Carpet

Best Dressed:

Lady Gaga:

Boasting old Hollywood glamour vibes in Vintage McQueen, Lady Gaga remains bold as ever with daring hip inserts yet manages to pull off a classy and feminine look.

What really stole the show was her stunning Tiffany and Co Necklace, previously worn by the legend Audrey Hepburn. The ‘priceless’ jewellery is thought to be worth more than $40 Million USD.

Jewellery aside, we love this elegant style on Gaga.

She may not have won the Oscar, but there is no denying she looked breathtaking in this red tulle dress. Whilst pink and red tulle dominated the fashion at the Red Carpet, Marina shows us how to do it right. From the fitted structured top and understated makeup and hair, to the just right amount of volume in the skirt, we give this look a 10 out of 10.

Worst Dressed:

Emma Stone:

Although the structured silhouette of the high-fashion gown was eye-catching and flattering, fans were not as supportive of the fabric choice, with twitter users comparing it to a grocery store ham.

Sarah Paulson

What was she thinking? Sarah Paulson rarely gets it wrong in the style stakes — but this dress did her no favours. Whilst the colour is spot on for her skin tone, the top half of the dress turned heads for all the wrong reasons.

Rachel Weisz

Best Supporting Actress nominee Rachel Weisz was a fashion flop at this years Oscar’s. Once again, the bottom half of the dress showed potential, the effect was ruined by a bizarre cropped raincoat. People even compared her outfit to fruit roll ups.
